I came to photography through observation. The more I looked, the more I began to notice the quiet details. A glance that lingers. Light falling across a shoulder. The feeling of something real beginning to take shape.
My background in fine art and cultural history shaped the way I see. Studying the Renaissance taught me the rhythm of composition. Caravaggio showed me how light carries weight, how it reveals and conceals in equal measure. These ideas live in my work, but never dictate it.
Based in Florence, I photograph people and places with honesty and care. I follow feeling, not formulas. What matters most to me is presence. A sense that the moment was lived, not arranged. That something true was seen.
